Description Haval H2

Haval H2 - a compact urban crossover from the Great Wall Motor brand owned by Haval. The model debuted in April 2014 in Beijing, and entered the Ukrainian market in 2018. The restyled version went on sale in 2020.

The updated Haval H2 has completely changed the design of the front of the body: a hexagonal grille, different headlights and a modified bumper. The design of the rear lights and the lower part of the bumper was also changed, and keyless entry was included in the options list.

In 2015, the safety of the Haval H2 crossover was tested according to the Chinese C-NCAP methodology. According to the results of crash tests, the SUV received the highest rating - five stars, scoring 55.7 points out of a possible 62. In addition, the car passed crash tests according to the Australian ANCAP methodology, where he also earned the maximum five stars, gaining 34.88 points out of 37 possible. So, 13.88 points H2 earned on the results of a frontal collision with an offset, 16 points out of 16 possible - in a side impact, the maximum 2 and 3 points - for checking protection against whiplash injuries and seat belts, respectively.

Hidden under the hood is a 1.5-liter GW4G15B petrol engine based on a Toyota engine. 1NZ-FE. The sixteen-valve unit with distributed fuel injection and turbocharging develops 143 hp. (at 5600 rpm) and maximum torque of 202 Nm (at 2200-4500 rpm). It is combined with a six-speed “mechanics” and with an “automatic” of a similar range. The car is available with front-wheel drive, as well as in all-wheel drive modification.

The front suspension of the Haval H2 is independent with McPherson struts. Behind - an independent multi-link. The crossover is equipped with disc brakes front and rear (front ventilated) and alloy wheels with 235/55 R18 tires.
